'Ojala':

As its title suggests, Ojala is shot through with wistfulness and whimsy - a muse on the familiar themes of memory and longing.

Warm, optimistic pads and neurotic arpeggios sit alongside warbled samples from fourth world and utopian 70s psychedelia, all infused with spasmodic and percussive dance patterns along the way.
Stretches of deep, beatless listening give way to sudden shifts into euphoric, melodic, hazy house, then receding again into ambient corridors.

Ojala melds the spirit of 'new age' music with the attention span of prog; equally relevant for a crepuscular dancefloor as it is for time alone contemplating seasons. Channeling the spirit of Janus, the LP celebrates duality in all of its forms: beginnings and transitions, two faces looking opposite ways, with little control but a prevailing sense of hope.

100% of ALL sales - vinyl and digital - will be passed on as donations to two organisations: Pay The Rent and Waltja.
